GRATITUDE GALA – October 24th
The Parish Council invites you to a virtual Gratitude Gala and Awards Ceremony on Saturday October 24 starting at 7pm. The program will take place on Zoom, and will include:
A Sharing of Gratitude in pictures,
Eating dessert and sharing gratitude in a small group,
Rector’s Annual Awards Ceremony

ALL SAINTS’ DAY – November 1st
The Bishop has given permission for congregations to celebrate Eucharist outdoors on All Saints’ Day. Weather permitting, our 9:30 a.m. outdoor service on November 1st will be a Communion service, with the distribution of bread. Our 8:00 service will be on Zoom and our 10:30 service will be live-streamed on FaceBook, as usual.

LOS OSOS COMMUNITY DINNER – November 5
It will be St. Benedict’s turn to host the Community Dinner soon and we need volunteers to provide the food. The menu for the upcoming dinner is: meatballs with gravy over mashed potatoes, vegetables, and bread. A vegetarian option will be available. We need YOU to help with donations of mashed potatoes and steamed or roasted mixed vegetables (5 people to make mashed potatoes for 20 people, for a total of 100 servings and 5 people to make steamed or roasted mixed vegetables for 20 people, for a total of 100 servings)

Hollister Institute – Streams of Living Water, by Richard J. Foster. Consider joining a conversation about the great traditions within Christianity and the spiritual practices that each one recommends. This well-written book by a beloved author will help you to understand Christians from other traditions of spirituality and to explore new ways of approaching God that may open your heart and mind to new realms of the divine mind. The conversations will be led by the Rev. Caroline Hall and other participants. All sessions will be on Zoom. Tuesdays at 10:15 AM October 6 through November 17
People’s Worship – Thursdays at 4PM – This service is led by Rev. Mike Eggleston and Caro+, and maybe others, at the end of Palisades outside the parking lot of Elizabeth Ann Seaton Catholic Church. It will last no more than 30 minutes and we are hoping that some of our unhoused neighbors will feel able to join us.
